TMJ, the world’s leading athlete management agency dedicated exclusively to women soccer players, has selected BlackWing Creative to re-imagine and re-invigorate its brand.

“It’s an absolute honor to partner with TMJ and its inspirational leaders,” says BlackWing Account Director Kathleen Hart. “Their passion and commitment to leveling the playing field for female athletes has our agency fired up to elevate the entire TMJ organization and help it gain the recognition it deserves.”

Founded in 2015 by Guillermo Zamarripa and Oscar Peinado, TMJ currently represents over 200 professional athletes from more than 30 countries, including 41 players who competed in the last Women’s World Cup. In its continuing quest to champion fair representation for women athletes, TMJ just recently helped ink the highest-paid contract in women’s soccer player history with Zambian soccer star Racheal Kundananji joining Bay FC.

“We are incredibly excited to work with BlackWing,” states TMJ CEO Guillermo Zamarripa. “I’m so proud of all the work the agency has done for almost 10 years when it comes to the women’s game and everything that’s still left to do. The exponential growth we have seen as an agency and women’s sports, in general, inspired us to ensure our brand reflects that as we enter this new era. Partnering with BlackWing allows us to take our gains and success and capitalize on this opportunity to reposition ourselves. We can’t wait to see it become a reality.”

TMJ has employees in multiple cities around the globe and not only represents players in negotiating contracts; it also seeks sponsorships, offers media representation, and assists women with issues that are not typically faced by male soccer players, including World Cup Champion Jenni Hermoso’s current legal and social campaign for the rights of women athletes.

BlackWing Creative is a full-service branding, advertising, and website development firm with offices in Seattle and San Francisco. BlackWing designed, developed, and currently maintains the website for the newest U.S. National Women’s Soccer League team, Bay FC.
